When you make a purchase from the Nicole René collection, you will receive all the necessary paperwork to activate your one free year of insurance against loss, theft or damage from your retailer. You will be required to send in a copy of the sales receipt, and an appraisal from your jeweler, which you should receive at the time of purchase.
After you mail the application and necessary paperwork in the postage paid envelope, your insurance will be activated the day it is postmarked. DO NOT send any payment to Jewelers’ Mutual. Skip the section marked “Payment Options” and the section marked “Premium” on your application. You will receive a notification that your insurance is activated within 5-7 business days. Nicole René is billed directly, and you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your ring is protected.
What happens after the first year is up on my jewelry insurance?
At the end of your first year, you will receive a notification from Jeweler’s Mutual Insurance Company with a similar application and insurance rate guide. At this time, you may choose to continue insuring your piece with Jewelers’ Mutual. Please visit www.jewelersmutual.com or call 888-884-2424 for more detailed policy information.
Why do I need to have my jewelry inspected?
Periodic inspections are required to help identify any damage to your jewelry and prevent potential losses. Jewelry values are also updated, if necessary, so that you have adequate insurance coverage.
Nicole René suggests that your fine jewelry be inspected on a quarterly basis. Please return your jewelry to any authorized Nicole René jeweler for a free cleaning and inspection.
